Kronmat offers a set of installation accessories designed to connect the roof window with the relevant layers of the roof structure. Depending on the selected configuration, the set may include thermal insulation, an underfelt collar and an airtight collar. When correctly selected and installed in accordance with the instructions, these components help limit air leakage and thermal bridging around the window.

The MXT vapour-permeable collar with thermal insulation is designed to connect the roof window with the roofing membrane. When installed in accordance with the instructions, it helps limit moisture penetration into the insulation around the window and supports the drainage of moisture away from the window area. The thermal insulation supplied with the collar helps limit thermal bridging around the window.
The collar can be installed directly on roof battens within the configurations specified in the installation instructions. Its corner connections support the continuity of the vapour-permeable layer around the window.
The MXT collar is supplied with impregnated sheep-wool insulation for filling the space between the window frame and the surrounding roof structure.
