Thermal performance

The 4.6 cm thick white insulated hatch helps limit heat flow. The U-value of the central section of the hatch is 0.85 W/(m²·K).**

Air permeability

Two seals installed in the box help limit air leakage. The tested configuration achieved air permeability Class 4 according to EN 12207.***

Hatch lock

When the hatch is closed, the lock presses it against the seals.

Ease of use

The metal handrail provides an additional point of support when using the loft ladder.
